Poacher's Bistro is one the most exciting restaurants Leicestershire has to offer. It is situated within an old 17th century inn opposite a Norman church in the delightful village of Thurlaston. The rural, but still accessible village, lies just five miles west of Leicester city centre. Chris Tandy created Poachers Bistro which blends traditional British cuisine with a worldly flair after having many years of experience in the industry.

Leicestershire is a beautiful place to visit with many attractions, so why not drop by to enjoy our hospitality and superb dining experience.

The bistro has established itself as one of the most successful restaurants in Leicestershire catering upto 90 guests. The menus have been created by head chef Fraser McDonald who has worked for top restaurants across the U.K. He has also spent three years working overseas in Italy,Australia and New Zealand.

Conference facilities are available from £20 per delegate including lunch.

Head Chef Fraser McDonald has worked for michelin starred restaurants in the U.K and spent three years working overseas in Italy, Australia and New Zealand. He has catered for all budgets and needs and is always available for helping decide any special menus you might desire.

A private conference center with flipchart, overhead projector and executive dining suite for up to 60 guests is available at NO HIRE CHARGE, provided lunch/dinner and drinks are taken at the event.

James Martin, Michael Parkinson, Martin O'Neill, Ian Botham, Fred Trueman, Dean Richards and Micky Adams are just some of the patrons welcomed by the Poacher's Bistro.

The Poacher's also boasts a superb Wine List, including 14 wines by the glass, from the House Aldridge Estate to the majestic Krug 1976 Collection.
