It is situated within an old 17th century inn opposite a Norman church in the delightful village of Thurlaston. The rural, but still accessible village, lies just five miles west of Leicester city centre. Chris Tandy created Poachers Bistro which blends traditional British cuisine with a worldly flair after having many years of experience in the industry. Leicestershire is a beautiful place to visit with many attractions, so why not drop by to enjoy our hospitality and superb dining experience. The bistro has established itself as one of the most successful restaurants in Leicestershire catering upto 90 guests. The menus have been created by head chef Fraser McDonald who has worked for top restaurants across the U.K. He has also spent three years working overseas in Italy,Australia and New Zealand.
